MDF – Medium Density Fibre Board

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) is suitable for many woodworking and carpentry projects due to its consistency and smooth surface finish which makes it extremely easy to work with and suitable for secondary finishing.

An MDF with zero added formaldehyde, it is developed specifically for use in environmentally sensitive interior applications and contributes to improved indoor air quality. This MDF far exceeds Class E1 (EN 622-1) low formaldehyde emission standard and is well below the general ambient outdoor levels. This material is an ideal solution for museums, laboratories, art galleries, nursing homes, hospitals, nurseries and schools.

Birch plywood has an attractive edge with a uniformed lines making it a particularly popular material to use when an exposed plywood edge is desired.

MDF FLAMESHIELD

An MDF panel developed specifically for use in situations where a Class ‘0’ or Class ‘1’ flame retardant board is required under standards set by the Singapore Fire Safety & Shelter Department in the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

Tested by TÜV SÜD PSB Singapore for BS 476 Part 6 and Part 7, MDF FlameShield achieves the certificate of conformity (COC) for Class ‘0’ and Class ‘1’ respectively.

Premier Plywood - Pine

Pine plywood has a beautiful rotary grain aesthetic suitable for furniture, shelving, wall paneling and other indoor applications. The grain can be made more pronounced by staining. Suitable for tropical climate applications, PLY Premier - Pine Plywood uses a specially formulated adhesive made to withstand exposure to moisture.

Made from three or more layers of wood veneers, in order to improve the strength of the board, each wood layer is usually oriented with its grain running at right angles to the adjacent layer. This results in a product that has superior dimensional stability and tensile strength to fulfill the most demanding building requirements.

OSB PREMIER

OSB Premier is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It is made from selected wood strands of a defined shape stacked in a particular cross-wise orientation, giving it excellent mechanical properties.

OSB does not contain the typical defects found in solid wood such as knots or cracks. Dimensions, shape and orientation of the wood strands in individual layers make maximum use of the wood's natural properties for achieving the best structural and physical board parameters.

Colour MDF

For design-centric applications, Colour MDF is produced using organic dyes that are impregnated into the wood fibres during the production process. This allows for a homogeneous colour distribution throughout the entire board. The colour throughout the board is retained regardless of whether it is sanded, cut, routed or machined.

Colour MDF is manufactured using a moisture-resistant resin, giving it exceptional physical and mechanical properties. The panel has higher moisture resistance compared to regular MDF and has up to 30% greater strength.

Stainless Steel SUS316, 304

Stainless steel is a steel alloy with substantial composition of nickel and chromium. Unlike ordinary steel, stainless steel is
resistant to corrosion, this characteristic alone makes it a low maintenance material suitable for many applications.

Another advantage of stainless steel is its fabrication properties, especially with austenitic grade Stainless Steel as it fits easily into standard fabrication methods.

Mild Steel

Mild steel is a type of carbon steel with a low amount of carbon – it is actually also known as “low carbon steel.”

Less carbon means that mild steel is typically more ductile, machinable, and weldable than high carbon and other steels, however, it also means it is nearly impossible to harden and strengthen through heating and quenching. The lack of alloying elements such as those found in stainless steels means that the iron in mild steel is subject to oxidation (rust) if not properly coated. But the negligible amount of alloying elements also helps mild steel to be relatively affordable when compared with other steels. It is the affordability, weldability, and machinability that make it such a popular choice of steel for consumers.

Aluminum 5052

Aluminum 5052 is a higher strength alloy than the 1100 or 3003 series. It offers excellent corrosion resistance and its major alloying element is magnesium.

Magnesium allows for a much lower melting point without the brittleness.

Aluminum 5052 is a non-heat treatable aluminum alloy. Benefits of aluminum 5052 include excellent finishing characteristics, bright anodized coatings, good corrosion resistance, and weldability.
